CACAORICO is a bean-to-bar chocolate. It means that we make all the process starting from the cocoa beans to make our own chocolate.
The main characteristic is that we use no sugar added. Our chocolates and all our products are sweetened only with dates. All this makes our chocolate unique!
Héctor Lara Velázquez, from Mexico, settled in Quebec since 2011, graduated in gastronomy and pastry, creative, passionate about culinary arts, travel and languages.
Valérie Avondo, from France, established in Quebec since 2005, creative, entrepreneur, passionate about healthy cooking, travel, arts, dance and yoga.
It is the story of Hector and Valerie, who share their love, life, and their passion for gastronomy, healthy and creative cooking, and the concern of well-being.
Following a trip in 2019 to Mexico, land of origin of cocoa, in alignment with their values and way of life, wishing to share the magic of cacao, CACAORICO was born.
CACAORICO offers a delicious and healthy alternative to chocolate lovers. From the cocoa bean to you, CACAORICO is handmade chocolate that comes in all shapes, flavors, and colors, to bite, spread, drink, melt or cook. Our chocolate has no added sugar, only sweetened with dates, it’s vegan, gluten free, and most of its ingredients are organic.
